Hi. Thank you for your email. In circumstance as you mentioned, it possible to have the attendance of both parties (or any party) to be excused from appearing in court WITH the court permission.

hi

Is it compulsory for both husband and wife to attend the court hearing? Could reason such as working abroad be excused from such hearing?

Thank you.

  1. Hi,

If one party cannot prove irretrievable breakdown of marriage, does that mean that the court may dismiss the divorce petition?

I don't want to get a divorce, but my wife is in love with another man and wants it.

I don't want to let it go so easily. It is unfair to me.
We're still living together under one same roof.
